Passing command flags in a script
I have a user executing a script that does several calls to other exe's. The script keeps hanging on the following call to an exe and we think it is because it is passing in several command flags. The command flags are in bold below: "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinRAR\WinRAR.exe" E concur_datadump.zip r...

Detected File Name
I'm running AFT 7.0 and am watching and then transferring a file. In the Advanced --> File Watcher tab I am using the Auto-Edit variable to detect the file name that is being watched. I then use this variable as a parameter in a command job that is forced in when the transfer is successful. This wor...

Reporting on SAP Fields
I need to generate a report that lists the jobname, ABAP program, variants, and in/out conditions.
How do I get the ABAP program and the variant. I know they are AutoEdit Variables but I don't see a field selector for that in the Reporting facility.
We're using Ctrl-M v7 with CM for SAP v6.4.

Re: CYCLIC job will not finish it's last run
On the EXECUTION tab of your jobs you will want to increase the AJF Retention Maxwait to 1 so that the job does not get cleaned up during New Day. It will stay out there one day. If you need it to stay out there 2 days than change AJF Retention to 2, etc. If the jobs are pred'ed together you shouldn...

Web Portal for User Access
Is there a web portal that users can access the EM from?
I thought there was but I might have been getting it confused with the web launch package.
Thanks,
Howard Lyle

I am having a similar problem. I am running Ctrl-M 6.4 with AFT 6.4. I have defined the AFT account in the Configuration Manager on the agent where I need to run an AFT job and when I select "Get the home directory" I just get a \. I went into the IIS Manager on the agent server and viewed the prope...
