How long does Control-M Keep Statistics

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering, how many days back does Control-M keep job stats?
Is this simply a parameter that can be changed?

Thanks,
Kyle

Add some sort of functionality to push agent upgrades/fixpacks via the config manager.

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know what this Control-M Server process does?
p_ctmcs

This process seems to respawn itself and maxes out the connections on the DB, which causes the Control-M to disconnect from the DB.

Control-M Server 7 Using Oracle 10g

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if Control-M Server 7 is Oracle ASM compatible?

I don't know much about databases, so my question may even be worded incorrectly.

Thanks,
Kyle

Agents and Protocols during upgrade

Hi Guys, Got a quick one here. We are upgrading our Control-M Environment to V7 in the next couple of weeks. We only have 2 Control-M Servers with about 30 or so agents connecting to each. My question is, is a higher server level compatible with a lower agent protocol? Eg, V6.3.01 Agent connecting t...

Thanks very much Mauriziog!

I don't want to go down the maxwait=99 route as this is a messy option.
I didn't even suggest that to the business unit.

I did however suggest the archived viewpoints, which I think is the best option.

Thanks

Retain "Ended-Ok" Jobs in AJF

Hi Guys, I was wondering, is it possible to retain a job that has ended-ok in the AJF? Example: New day time = 17:55 Jobs will order in on Saturday @ 17:55, they will run early Sunday morning. This specific Business Unit wants to see the ended-ok jobs in the AJF on Monday. Then the jobs can be clear...

Control-M and Powershell

Hi, Is it possible to run a Powershell script from Control-M? Are there any tricks or things to consider when doing so? I'm using Control-M Server 6.3.01.300 and Control-M Agent 6.3.01.300 We seem to get this error when running a powershell script: Powershell.exe e:\batch\Autorec-IE.accounts.ps1 E: ...

Nope, RETRO is not ticked/enabled on any jobs.

The thing I find strange is, for example I find a duplicate job in the AJF.
If I Load the table from the DB, a duplicate job exists there, but when I check the draft that I saved as a backup, that doesn't contain a duplicate job???

The USERDAILY is set to SYSTEM. There is only one copy of ctmudly executing in a day. These occurrences are completely random as we have a Control-M Server in South Africa and one in London, it happens on both servers. That's why I suspect it has something to do with the EM, it's the only thing thes...

Another way of doing this is by editing the config.dat file. On your Unix server, go to: $HOME/ctm_server/data vi the config.dat file and append the following to the end of the file (make sure you backup the original config.dat file first) # E-mail Parameters ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL A ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAI...
