I recommend you upgrade as I have had minimal validation issues. It will not affect your current accounts and jobs but each job will have more options available to you such as RENAME & MOVE source file, RENAME & MOVE destination file, create an empty file at destination for use as a trigger, continu...

My reply from BMC Support below on 03/24/2011. "Currently, the Control-M for Databases does not support the Windows 64 bit platform. We have a request to add this support (CAR00041146). Tentatively, we have planned the next GA of the Control-M for Databases that is scheduled for Q3 this year will ha...

I have tried to perform with the AFT itself but was unsuccessful. I had to find a .na file and if it had a matching .dl file this was a placement file utherwise the all other .na files were maintenance files. I first downloaded all the files (you could do this when you find the .csv) and then I used...

You did not specify if you want to move to a subfolder on the remote site or the local site but in order to move to a subfolder on the remote site you need rights from the site owner and you will need to transfer the file to to a local folder. Then on the right side of the transfer definition you se...

Prior to Control-M the environment was Hp3000 MPE/IX. Some of the jobs have embedded EOJ's which are used in IF/THEN/ELSE situations. The program when run on the HP will not exit on the embedded EOJ unless the conditions in the IF are met. However, when Control-M streams the job, it will exit the jo...

If you would like to use this let me know and I will provide some sample code. I have installed AFT 6.4.01 ...

AFT enhancement in FP1 allows file watch before transfer. And with file watch, name of the watched file can be assigned to a global variable. Try this out. After rereading your solution I noticed that you said the same thing as development below. Thank you for your input. So sorry I misunderstood it.
