Which other concurrent in MVS and open systems exists?

My opinion for open systems:

I know TWS8.x and ... it is uncomparable with CTM.
For end user, it is 10 years behind.
The only thing, I like about TWS is enabling FTA agents to run without MDM. (agents can run jobs without 'main server') and the switchmgr utility if the master fails.
The application uses WAS and it is another 'spanish village'.
Managing conditions? - really strange.
To do such things like I did in CTM - i should bury myself.
