Hello,

I need to schedule a ControlM 6.4 job who must execute at 5am (NDP is at 3pm) only on thursday and the last working day of the month.
I have a calendar of working day, so I've scheduled it with L2 with calendar WORKINGDAY (Monday to friday).
It's ok, but when the last working day is a Monday (like the last day of november 2015), the job can't be scheduled on sunday...

Somebody have an idea ?

Thank you in avdvance.

Hello,
is this a mainframe job, or windows / linux / unix..?
The reason I ask, is that I have created a complex shedule requirement by sheduling a job to run all days, but inside that job I have a series of autoedits that will resolve to yes or no, then the actual job only runs if its yes.
My example is a mainframe though.

Cheers,
Alan

Another way might be to have two dummy jobs as predecessors to your actual job,
put one set of requirements in one dummy job, the other requirements in the second job.
So in effect your job does not run unless it gets both sets of requirements;
of course you can use calendars in either or neither, as required.
Hope that helps!

Cheers,
Alan
