I installed the Control Module Control-M AFT for V6.4 (CM for AFT)
on CCM (Control-M Configuration Manager), the CM does not appear (CM FILE_TRANS)

Try performing below on a command line on the CTM server not the Agent server. Need to always perform after installing any Control Modules.

ctmgetcm -NODEID <agent> -ACTION GET

Need to be on the Control-M Server and perform the get for the agent where you installed the Control Module. See below:

Try restarting the agent services. From the Knowledge Base is below.

Problem Description

Running ctmgetcm results in the following error:
Error: Control-M Server can not process CM information
This will occur if the ctmgetcm utility is executed immediately after Control-M/Agent startup.


Solution Description

The CM will need time to register itself and be started by the CONTROL-M/Agent.

Wait 2 minutes for the Agent and Tracker to initialize and execute the ctmgetcm command again.
