hello,
How do I get an alert or shout on ECS if a job or group is not mounted on the control-m plane ?

Short answer is: you don't. At least the product does not inform you natively. If you want to detect this kind of events, you'll have to check this out yourself.

Hi,

You can look the <ctmudchk> Control-M utility

ie: ctmudchk -DAILY <your user daily name> -ACTION LIST

If it returns nothing, then everything for the specific User Daily is correctly ordered and found in the AJF.

For future date:
ctmudchk -DAILY <your user daily name> -ACTION LIST -ODATE <your future odate> | grep <your_jobname>

If no job found, send alert
